Beginning in 2016 and ending in 2018, faculty from UW–Madison’s College of Engineering and NU’s School of Engineering (SEng) collaborated and engaged in services with the goal of assisting in faculty, staff, and student development of NU’s graduate-level engineering programs.
UW–Madison representatives advised on SEng M.S. and Ph.D. admissions processes, participated as external faculty on Ph.D. supervisory committees, and served as external reviewers for Ph.D. theses.
In addition, through a faculty exchange program in 2016 and 2017, representatives traveled to UW–Madison and to NU to present their research, meet with related faculty, provide guidance on professional development, and participate in other related research activities.
